A knowledge graph is a structured database of entities — people, organizations, products, places — and the relationships between them. Google's Knowledge Graph powers knowledge panels and helps its systems resolve what a query refers to. Being present as a recognized entity matters in both classic and AI search, since engines lean on entity data when deciding which brands belong in an answer. Google exposes a free lookup API.
