Structured Data

Structured data is machine-readable markup embedded in a page that states explicitly what the content is: an article, product, organization, event, or recipe. Search engines use it for rich results and entity understanding, and AI engines parse it as well. The standard vocabulary is schema.org, and Google's recommended format is JSON-LD. Markup must mirror visible content — describing things users cannot see violates guidelines.
