Mention Rate

Mention rate is the percentage of sampled AI answers that name your brand at all, regardless of whether they link to your site. It is the bluntest and most intuitive AI-visibility metric, usually paired with average position (was the brand named first or fifth?) and sentiment. Because LLM answers vary between runs, honest mention rates come from repeated sampling with confidence intervals, not single queries.
