Visibility Score

A visibility score is a composite 0–100 metric summarizing a brand's presence in AI answers, typically weighting mention rate, average position within the answer, and citation rate, sometimes with sentiment. Every vendor weights components differently, so scores are not comparable across tools — track the trend within one methodology. Engines also shift citation behavior quarterly, so scoring models need versioning to keep changes interpretable.
